Swedish melodic doom/death metallers SLUMBER have officially called it quits. The group’s long-awaited new album, “Resonance”, has been re-titled “Skylight” and will be released in the fall under the new band moniker ATOMA.

ATOMA (MySpace page) features former SLUMBER keyboardist/vocalist Ehsan Kalantarpour alongside Rickard Insulander, Siavosh Bigonah and Markus Hill, among others.

In other news, former SLUMBER guitarist/vocalist Jari Lindholm has launched an as-yet-unnamed new project. The band is scheduled to enter the studio in two weeks to begin recording its debut album. More information is available at this location.
