Soundsrock Agency is thrilled to announce RADIOATTIVA to its roster family!
RadioAttiva was formed on September 12, 2016 by Alessandro Dionisi (vocals) and Claudio Scorcelletti (guitars), following their previous experience in the band Casa di Cura 13. From the very beginning, the project has embraced an Italian-language Rock identity, strongly influenced by the sound of the 1990s.
Alessandro Dionisi comes from a background that blends music and theater. He has played Grunge, Garage Rock, Nu Metal and Rock/Metal, while also developing a strong theatrical and performative approach. He holds a degree in Literature and Philosophy (DAMS) and brings an intense, physical stage presence to the band.
The debut album Mediterranea marked RadioAttiva’s first recording chapter. In 2018, Marco Isvar (bass) and Alberto Chiavoni (drums) joined the lineup, leading to extensive live activity. This was followed by the second album Resistencia, promoted by the press office Altoparlante, which allowed the band to perform beyond the Lazio region and at several festivals.
In 2020, RadioAttiva signed with Sorry Mom, but the Covid-19 pandemic halted live scheduling. In 2021, the music video for Tu Sorriderai, created in collaboration with internationally renowned drummer David Folchitto, received excellent feedback and was broadcast on Sky Arte.
After several lineup changes, the band was renewed with Riccardo Castellani (guitar), Gianluca Ceppari (drums), and later Matteo Curiale (bass). Their sound evolved into a more mature Alternative Rock, enriched with Hard Rock, Blues and Metal influences, while maintaining a visceral and direct live attitude.
The new material flows into the project Io Ti proteggerò, recorded at Eko Sound (Rome). The band’s lyrics focus on strong social themes such as war, human and civil rights, gender equality, and bullying/cyberbullying. Alongside their music, RadioAttiva continue to explore theatrical performance, developing concept shows and new releases currently in progress.
