Spanish Power Metal outfit RAVEN’S GATE has unveiled their renewed and striking new aesthetic (photographed by Borja Alonso), that will visually represent the sound of their new album, which will be entitled “Blackstar Machinery”.
In words of the band “the new concept of the band presents an evolution at every level, both musical and visual, maximizing the unique characteristics of the band. With this we’ve reached a new level in the evolution of Raven’s Gate we’re looking forward to show you all in our new live performances”.

Art Gates Records team is proud to announce RAVEN’S GATE as the new artist to join our crescent family of talents.
The band start its activity in the beginning of 2011 in the city of Valencia (Sp). The music of Raven’s Gate combines the European Power Metal and Melodic Metal basis along with details from Prog music and even Death Metal influences. The idea is to create an emotional and exciting music allowing the listener to be connected through the melody and a powerful live representation.
In words of the band: “The incorporation of the flock to the Art Gates Records rooster has been an important decision. It’s a real pride to find a strong label to work with side by side and continue growing to take Raven’s Gate a step further, both in quality and professionalism at all levels. We are sure this new period will bring a lot of success. For us there are no borders now!”
The line up release its first LP “Defying Gravity” (2013) receiving a quite good feedback from followers and the specialized press around the globe, presenting two striking videos for the singles “Lionheart Doll” and “3..2..1..Awake!”, watch the videos below.
After performing in the entire country of Spain along with well known bands in the national metal scene, such as Opera Magna, Dünedain or Dragonfly, and receiving an outstanding feedback from the audience; Raven’s Gate are now fully immersed in the creative process of their upcoming album, that will be released in the next months through Art Gates Records worldwide.
