Washington D.C. Crossover Thrashers RED DEATH continue to promote the release of their third studio album and Century Media Records debut “Sickness Divine” with a next European tour in October/November 2020 alongside Midnight and Hellripper. Here is a list of the dates:

RED DEATH checked in with the following comment about the tour: “We are beyond excited to be returning to Europe!!! We are both very honored and ecstatic about spending a month on the road with Midnight as well. They are one of our favorite bands to see live and they inspire us in that regard. We can’t wait to share a stage with them!!!”

Once more produced by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Sacred Reich) and with cover art by Timbul Cahoyno (The Black Dahlia Murder, Nocturnus A.D.), RED DEATH’s album “Sickness Divine” is a sledgehammer-to-the-skull riff-ride across its 10 annihilating tracks.

United by a love for “Master Of Puppets”-era Metallica, “Animosity”-era Corrosion of Conformity, Discharge and the best of 80’s Thrash Metal, RED DEATH was born out of a 2013 basement jam session between drummer Connor Donegan (also of Genocide Pact), guitarist Ace Mendoza and frontman Chad Troncale. RED DEATH became an underground favorite with the release of 2015’s “Permanent Exile” followed by US gigs and tours with the likes of Power Trip and Obituary. With 2017’s “Formidable Darkness” album and a line-up that saw Troncale assume bass and vocal duties as well as the addition of Enforced guitarist Will Wagstaff, Having played shows across North America with the likes of Power Trip, Iron Reagan, Municipal Waste, Exodus, Obituary, Terror and also a European tour with Foreseen last year. RED DEATH proved themselves a force to be reckoned with and 2019 saw the band’s return to European stages supporting Cro-Mags prior to the worldwide release of their third full-length album “Sickness Divine” via Century Media Records.

Washington D.C. Crossover Thrashers RED DEATH released their third studio album and Century Media Records debut “Sickness Divine” worldwide yesterday.

Therefore a video clip filmed by David Thelen & Norman Heiner during RED DEATH’s recent European tour with Cro-Mags is being launched today for the song “(Refuse To Be) Bound By Chains”:

RED DEATH’s vocalist/bassist Chad Troncale checked in with the following comment about “(Refuse To Be) Bound By Chains”: “I resist life’s oppression and prefer to live my life by my rules. It’s very much a “Robin Hood” minded song. Featuring four lines written by one of my favorite lyricists, Mr. Jason Tarpey (Eternal Champion / Iron Age).”

Washington D.C. crossover thrashers RED DEATH have announced a co-headline North American Expedition tour with ENFORCED. The band will be in on tour starting January 4th in Washington D.C. and wraping on January 31st in Brooklyn, NY. Tickets are available for purchase here.

“We are very excited to finally begin our world wide promotion of Sickness Divine,” states Red Death vocalist and bassist Chad Troncale. “We haven’t played a lot of these cities in almost two years so we are thrilled to visit new, as well as familiar, scenes around the country. See you soon!”

After having recently wrapped up a successful European tour with Cro-Mags, Washington DC Crossover Thrashers RED DEATH have launched a second single for their upcoming third studio album and Century Media Records debut “Sickness Divine” (Street date: November 29^th, 2019).

RED DEATH’s vocalist/bassist Chad Troncale checked in with the following comment about the song: “Title track of the record. It’s about the internet and the “holier than thou” god complex it enables most humans to indulge in. Hence the line “crucified cancellation just for using your mind”. “Divine” meaning all powerful and “Sickness” meaning it’s all in the mind and on the keyboard. Calling out the internet without using one technological term.”

Washington DC Crossover Thrashers RED DEATH are proud to announce their upcoming third studio album and Century Media Records debut “Sickness Divine” for a worldwide release on November 29th, 2019.

RED DEATH checked in with the following comment about “Sickness Divine”: “ This is the record we all wanted to collectively make and we feel good about what we did. Whatever aspects we liked from our past material have been fine tuned and amplified. Any new ideas we wanted to bring to the table fit perfectly and now has opened the door for future material. We wanted to create something unique for our time. A crossover record but one that fully establishes RED DEATH as just RED DEATH and nothing more. A fine balance between what we’ve done and what we needed to do. We started recording with Arthur Rizk in Philadelphia, PA around late May and finished up early August. We are gearing up to tour Europe with the CRO-MAGS as well as preparing ourselves for 2020 and beyond. We are beyond excited and can not wait to share what we’ve created with everyone! ”

RED DEATH Sign Worldwide Deal With Century Media Records

Century Media Records are proud to announce that Washington DC Crossover Thrashers RED DEATH are the latest addition to the label’s roster, after having recently signed the group to a worldwide multi-album deal.

Having played shows across North America with the likes of Power Trip, Iron Reagan, Municipal Waste, Exodus, Obituary, Terror and also a European tour with Foreseen last year, RED DEATH are looking forward to a busy year 2019 which will see the group continue their relentless live-crusade, but also finalize work on their third full-length album and Century Media Records debut for release later in 2019.

RED DEATH comment the signing to Century Media Records as follows: “We are honored to join the Century Media family! We have been fans of the label and its roster long before this band existed. From artists like Merauder to Morgoth, it’s been a name that we’ve always paid much attention to. We are currently preparing our third LP and releasing it via Century Media makes perfect sense. We have dedicated ourselves and put forth a large amount of hard work into this band and we plan on channeling that drive and energy into our upcoming record. Above all we’re very honored to be apart of the label and to add to its history!”
