According to Classic Rock Magazine, Personal Jesus is taken from the Red Rocker’s collaborations album, Sammy Hagar And Friends, which was released last September via Frontiers.

Besides Hagar, the track feature guitarist Neal Schon (Journey), bassist Michael Anthony (Chickenfoot, ex-Van Halen) and drummer Chad Smith (Chickenfoot, Red Hot Chili Peppers).

Personal Jesus originally appeared on Depeche Mode’s 1990 album Violator.
