ROB ZOMBIE is pleased to announce his return to the Europe in the summer of 2015 on the back of the release of his much-awaited live album “Spookshow International Live” earlier in the year.
Rob Zombie will embark on a full European tour throughout July and August – including headline shows and renowned European festivals like Wacken, Getaway Rock Festival and culminating in a headline slot at UK’s Bloodstock festival.
Since 1997, Rob Zombie has achieved critical and commercial acclaim as a solo artist with several multi-platinum and gold albums. Zombie has sold more than fifteen million albums worldwide, and is the only artist to experience unprecedented success in both music and film as the writer/director of six feature films with a worldwide gross totaling more than $150 million.
Rob Zombie is currently wrapping production on his next film “31” and will release a new studio album later in 2015.

Rob Zombie insists it would be impossible to stage a festival like Download in the US – because the 90s grunge explosion has left a deep wound in the rock scene across the Atlantic, according to classicrockteamrock.com.
And he blames the movement that come out of Seattle for opening the door to the mainstream for rap music.
Zombie tells TeamRock Radio: “When the grunge rock thing hit with Nirvana and all that, everybody thought it was cool to be anti-rock star. They sort of anti-rock starred themselves right out the door – because the rap guys came in and said, ‘Fuck it. We’ll be the rock stars if you guys are going to wear flannel shirts and stare at your feet.’
“US rock music has never recovered from that. A whole generation of kids thought, ‘Rock music is boring. Let’s go listen to rap music.'”
That’s one of the reasons he loves coming back to Donington. “Here it’s different,” he states, adding that in the States, “you could never throw a rock festival like this and get this many people. Never – it wouldn’t work.”
Zombie invited younger brother Spider One of Powerman 5000 on stage with him in Germany last weekend, but Spider earlier said it was unlikely to happen at Download.
ROB ZOMBIE’s first concert film, The Zombie Horror Picture Show, will be released May 19 by Zodiac Swan/T-Boy/Universal Music. The feature-length concert film, recorded live over two sizzling nights in Texas, captures Zombie’s elaborate, multi-media production of mind-blowing SFX, animatronic robots, pyrotechnics, oversized LED screens and state-of-the-art light show combined with his powerhouse band featuring John 5, Piggy D and Ginger Fish.
The Zombie Horror Picture Show, available on Blu-ray, DVD and longform digital video, puts the viewer at the centre of the hot and nasty action for a blistering set of 16 Rob Zombie classics, including “Dragula,” “Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Super Town,” “Living Dead Girl,” “More Human Than Human,” and the crushing cover of Grand Funk Railroad’s “We’re An American Band” from the seven-time Grammy® nominee’s U.S. Top 10 2013 album, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor.
To support the release of The Zombie Horror Picture Show, Rob Zombie is set to tour Europe across June and July. The 2014 dates are Zombie’s first European dates since 2012. That year saw Zombie also dominate the touring world, blowing away audiences on the road with Megadeth, then with Marilyn Manson for the “Twins of Evil Tour”, where Zombie and his band of maniacs brought their hair-raising theatrics, insane guitar riffs and vicious beats all around the world. 2014’s European run is set to cement Rob Zombie’s reputation as one of the most exciting and essential live touring acts.
In 1997, after the breakup of his multi-platinum group White Zombie, Zombie went on to achieve even greater success as a solo artist with several more multi-platinum and gold albums including Hellbilly Deluxe, The Sinister Urge and Educated Horses.
As a rock icon and filmmaker with a unique vision, Rob Zombie has continuously challenged audiences as he stretches the boundaries of his music and films. Zombie has sold more than fifteen million albums worldwide, and is the only artist to experience unprecedented success in both music and film as the writer/director of six feature films with a worldwide gross totaling more than $100 million.

Graspop Metal Meeting is pleased to confirm another 22 bands for 2014 Line up: Megadeth, Slayer, Rob Zombie, Alice In Chains, Mastodon, Anthrax, Meshuggah, Satyricon, Gojira, Candlemass, Dark Tranquility, Suicide Silence, The Church Of Pungent Stench, Buckcherry, Thy Art Is Murder, Novembers Doom, Amenra, Of Mice & Men, In Solitude, Glorior Belli, Carach Angren, Letlive.
MEGADETH’s previous GMM show in 2012 blew everyone away. The band of singer/guitarist Dave Mustaine has a proud history and ‘Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying’, ‘Rust in Peace’ and ‘Countdown to Extinction’ are all landmark thrash albums. Mustaine has really come into his own in recent years, a fact illustrated by Megadeth’s 14th studio album ‘Super Collider’. The new kick-ass album is a worthy addition to Megadeth’s impressive catalogue and is one of 14 excellent reasons why the kings of speed metal should close the day’s proceedings on main stage 2 on Sunday 29th June.
This year, the GMM air will once again be rife with cries of SLAYER! The evil of Slayer has no boundaries and they show no mercy! These American thrash legends need no introduction because their perpetual hate offensive has been claiming souls worldwide for over thirty years now. They say that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and that also goes for Slayer. The band suffered a crushing blow last year when the angel of death sent riffmeister and founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman south of heaven but in 2014 Slayer are more brutal and merciless than ever. Fuelled by a newfound rage, battering-ram drumming, screaming solos and relentless riffs, the Californian thrash machine will bring an onslaught no one can survive.
Following a number of tumultuous years at the start of the millennium, ANTHRAX rallied with the 2011 release of their best album in years, one with a title that leaves nothing to the imagination: ‘Worship Music’. Live on stage Anthrax is an indestructible force and thanks to the Big 4 shows with their brethren of Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica, Anthrax reclaimed their rightful place at the top of the thrash food chain.
The multi-talented ROB ZOMBIE started out as the frontman for White Zombie. When White Zombie disbanded, he built an impressive solo career and also made a name for himself as the director of several acclaimed horror flicks. White Zombie was mainly successful in the early ‘90s. Records like 1993’s ‘La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol. 1’ and the platinum-certified ‘Astro-Creep: 2000’ are still as exciting today as at the time of their release. Unfortunately, the latter album also heralded the demise of the band. Rob immediately focused on a solo career and in 1998 ‘Hellbilly Deluxe’ became a smash hit. The ferocious-looking frontman continued to put out high-quality, horror-inspired records that carried his unique heavy/groovy signature, with 2013’s ‘Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor’ as the latest highlight.
