It appears that the much-hyped ROCK N ROLL ALLSTARS tour – featuring present/former members of KISS, DEF LEPPARD, GUNS N’ ROSES, SKID ROW, THE CULT, BILLY IDOL and ALICE IN CHAINS – has imploded and the only upcoming live date is in Lima, Peru at Explanada Monumental on April 27th according to their website.

Despite the fact that he was previously announced as one of the musicians taking part in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars tour, former METALLICA and VOIVOD bassist Jason Newsted will **NOT** be making an appearance at the event.

Promoter Gabe Reed will host a press conference to officially announce the Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars tour of South and Central America in April/May 2012 on Thursday, March 1 at 12:00 p.m. PST at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California.
