ROCKIN’1000 VIRTUAL REALITY is coming, a new way to enjoy Rockin’1000 concerts: thanks to the collaboration with Eyora, an English platform specializing in VR content, which has been recording the concerts of the biggest Rock Band in the world with 360° cameras for several years – starting on May 15, you will finally be able to watch the unreleased VR footage of our concerts in Florence (2018), Frankfurt (2018), and Milan (2019) from your own couch, and you’ll be able to understand what it’s like to be there, in the middle of 1,000 rocking musicians. With this technology, you can join the Thousand virtually, moving around throughout the field to find yourself between drummers, guitarists, bassists, and singers, or even on the main stage. You’ll be able to experience the show in a whole new dimension!
A virtual room dedicated entirely to Rockin’1000, accessible thanks to a VR headset and a VR PASS (costs for the public: Pass: 5 € or Pass + Headset: 20 €. For the musicians who are already part of the Rockin’1000 community: Pass: 4 € or Pass + Headset 16 €).
Part of the proceeds will be donated to EMERGENCY, which, in these difficult times, is active with its medical personnel working in the intensive therapy unit of the Pope John XXIII field hospital in Bergamo. It has also made available its health authorities whose capacities for epidemic sickness management were bolstered during the Ebola crisis. In Italy and throughout the world, through EMERGENCY, triage protocols are active for weak areas that allow professionals to identify patients with symptoms compatible with the virus, to inform them, and to direct them to competent services in the interest of protecting the public’s health.
To promote the initiative, Rockin’1000 and the Stade de France have decided to make the entire Paris concert (2019) available for a month as well, exclusively on the Eyeora platform (starting May 6 through the rest of the month). A gift for everyone who wanted to participate in the new concert planned for Paris in 2020, which has unfortunately been postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19.
The founders of Rockin’1000 say: “In these dark times, full of worry and without the ability to spend time together, we wanted to give our Community and those who still haven’t seen one of our concerts live the opportunity to escape from reality for a few hours and to have fun watching our Thousand play from up close. At the same time, we also want this new service to support those on the front lines fighting this crisis, and it is because part of the proceeds will be donated to Emergency, who we have always held in high regard.”
In Rockin’1000’s virtual room, you will be free to enjoy:
