Karhu Management has issued the following update:
Following up the release of the ‘Survival of the Richest 2.0’ album, Karhu have just released a web version of the accompanying DVD video ‘The Story So Far’. This querky ‘Rockumentary’ has brought a smile to the face of fans that have rushed out to buy the double disc release. Film makers Joseph Parry and Jackson Brice, produced the footage using predominantly Skype hosted interviews and some short sketches put together by the band members.

Although hilariously funny in places, the film is a genuine attempt to capture the character and characters that have brought this creative bunch of musicians to the starting point of their careers. Shot at the beginning of 2013 when bass player Matt Morris had just stepped down from the band, due to touring limitations created by his new job. The individual interviews do indeed unravel ‘The story so far’ and it will serve as an interesting marker when viewed retrospectively in coming years.
Having completed their 17 date UK tour in May ’13, the band continues to write the next album while growling Finnish guitarist Osku Kinnunen is going through military service in his home country. Looking to the future, the band are vigourously persuing European Festival dates and continue to grow that all important fan base.
