According to vocalist RONNY MUNROE (METAL CHURCH), Voices Of Metal will take place on March 30th at The House Of Rock in White Marsh, MD. The event will feature three sets from NEIL TURBIN (DEATHRIDERS, ex-ANTHRAX), Mark Boals (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) and Munroe.
Opening sets from SILVERTUNG and GHOST OF WAR, who will be playing their debut album Only Death Is Real in its entirety. For ticket info go to this location.
Former METAL CHURCH/LILLIAN AXE singer Ronny Munroe has joined FIREWOLFE.
FIREWOLFE‘s current lineup is completed by guitarists Paul Kleff and Nick Layton, and drummer Jay Schellen (HURRICANE, ASIA)
Commented Ronny: “I’ve waited quite a while to share some exciting news with everybody, but the time has come for me to finally spill the beans!
“I have been working closely with Paul and Nick of the band FIREWOLFE for a couple months now… I’ve taken over lead vocal duties and the song writing process has been going very well!! I have to say, if you like classic metal, you are going to dig this stuff. It’s also one of the reasons [my] new [solo] video is taking longer than anticipated.”
Singer David Fefolt left FIREWOLFE earlier in the year to pursue a career in the Christian music genre.
FIREWOLFE‘s debut album was previously described as “a turbine-powered, twin guitar, screaming eargasm” with overtones of DIO, IRON MAIDEN, SCORPIONS, and JUDAS PRIEST.
