Canadian-based melodic death-metal force SELIAS has joined forces with Wormholedeath to unleash their second full-length album, Killkarma, set for worldwide release on November 7, 2025.

Founded in 2020 by guitarist Steve Elias, SELIAS combines melodic death metal with groove and alt metal elements. Their sound is heavy and cinematic, built on aggressive riffs, heavy and melodic vocals, and atmospheric textures.

The band’s lineup includes vocalist Guillaume Pascual, whose blend of guttural growls, soaring clean vocals, and ambient keys adds emotional range; Daniel Bouwman on hard-hitting drums; Jeff Hyde anchoring the sound with melodic, heavy bass lines; and Steve Elias, the band’s architect, with intricate, commanding guitar work. Together, they forge a sound that’s both emotionally resonant and relentlessly heavy.

After their debut HEADSHOT, Killkarma marks a darker, more emotionally intense chapter for SELIAS. The album merges crushing riffs, moody synths, and raw vocals into a tightly crafted, immersive metal experience.

“With Killkarma, we wanted to sharpen our sound and push every element further—heavier riffs, deeper atmosphere, and more intensity across the board,” says guitarist and founder Steve Elias. “It’s the most focused we’ve ever been.”

Fans are already getting a preview of what’s to come. SELIAS has been showcasing new material from Killkarma on their multiple 2025 Canadian tours, delivering high-octane performances complete with immersive lighting, smoke effects, and dramatic synth moments that elevate their already intense live presence.

Musically, SELIAS draws influence from bands like In Flames, Soilwork, Rammstein, and Orbit Culture, offering a sound that balances melodic brutality with cinematic depth.
