According to the Van Halen News Desk, Eddie Van Halen took part in a photo shoot yesterday (Monday, August 5) for “Shades Of Elvis”, an upcoming photo book that will feature a variety of the world’s biggest music stars paying special homage to Elvis Presley. More than 70 celebrities — including Eddie‘s former VAN HALEN bandmate Sammy Hagar — will appear in the book wearing/posing with a pair of Elvis‘ personally owned and worn sunglasses. Joining Eddie and Sammy in the book will be Robert Plant, Steven Tyler, Willie Nelson, Sam Elliot, Johnny Depp, Elton John, Peter Fonda, Tony Hawk and many more.

“Shades Of Elvis” is a collaboration between photographer Christopher Ameruoso and Presley‘s ex-wife, Priscilla. The book will be released late November. Hardcover and e-book versions will be available.
