DARKING is an Italian Epic/Heavy Metal act formed in 2005 by Agostino Carpo, who along with Enrico Paoli was founding member of the cult Epic Metal band DOMINE, and recorded with them three demo materials between 1986 and 1991. DARKING’s debut album titled “Sons Of Steel” came out in 2010, and now in 2015 the band returns with their new output titled “Steal The Fire”. The album is full of epic melodies known so well from DOMINE, and even includes unusual tribute to Carpo’s first band, in form of DOMINE cover “Stormbringer”. Most recently the band also appeared on the “Italian Tribute To OMEN” compilation, and on the STRANA OFFICINA tribute album for which they recorded new version of the song titled “The Ritual”, with guest appearance of the BURNING STARR and ex-VIRGIN STEELE guitar wizard Jack Starr.
