At just 16 years old, Norwegian metalcore prodigy STORM is taking the music world by storm (pun intended). With his new single Alien Perspective, released yesterday, on January 9, he’s proving once again that he’s not afraid to push boundaries and blend genres in ways that few dare to try.
What makes Alien Perspective stand out? Imagine a whirlwind of metalcore riffs, rap flows, and high-energy drum and bass. It’s chaotic, electrifying, and impossible to ignore. But there’s more to the track than just its sound—STORM explains it’s about finding calm in the chaos.
“Alien Perspective is my personal favorite of the songs I have released so far”, he shares. “Teaming up with Erlend Torheim (PandaPanda) and Torine on the songwriting, I wanted to create something I’d never done before. It’s about embracing chaos – like being the only sober person in a room full of drunk or high people. You’re watching it all unfold, and finding acceptance with it. This track is pure instinct, pure creativity”.
Drawing inspiration from genre-defying acts like Bring Me The Horizon and Falling in Reverse, STORM has built a reputation for fearless experimentation. His music transcends traditional genre boundaries, appealing to a generation hungry for innovation. With a viral TikTok hit, millions of views on social media, and festival appearances at Tons of Rock and Download under his belt, STORM is already making waves globally.
Alien Perspective isn’t just a song—it’s an anthem for anyone who’s ever felt like an outsider. Its blistering beats and raw intensity will resonate with listeners who thrive on individuality and energy.
