STP Metalweekend 2019
Austrian melodic death metallers VERMOCRACY recently performed their first show together with the new band lineup.
The performance took place on Friday 27th September at the STP Metalweekend in St. Pölten, Austria. Austrian HeavyZine Stormbringer.at reporter and photographer Gregor Eder, captured the first live shots of the band onstage. “The Melo-Death-Band from Vienna has been roaring around the scene since 2017 and this time the quintet jumped, consisting of Michael Frick (vocals), Andreas Huber (guitar), Morgane Rake (guitar), Jacy Sakura (bass) and Roman Kolesnik (drums), at short notice. So Morgane Rake, who recently joined the band, came to an earlier than expected debut and I have to say that she adds wonderfully to the band. A special praise goes to the bassist Jacy, who delivered despite fever, a very successful show. In general, as I’ve seen the band a lot before, I can say that things are getting tighter and harder. The crowd enjoyed the presentation visibly and I enjoyed it as well.”

Background:
VERMOCRACY formed in Vienna in 2017 and performed their live debut in the summer of 2018. They have played many shows around Vienna since, including a recent slot supporting Dubai death metal band NERVECELL at the Viper Room Vienna. VERMOCRACY now have a stable lineup, following the addition of new vocalist and front man Michael Frick (HORNS OF HATTIN, ex-THEOTOXIN) in February 2019 and more recently Morgane Rake (BLACK COVEN) on guitar. The band are currently working on their debut album.
