On December 4, 2015, California based extreme metal titans, SUICIDE SILENCE headlined a special benefit show in support of Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHLA) at The Observatory in Santa Ana. Today, the band releases the live album from the night entitled »Live & Mental«. Watch the live video for the second single, ‘Bludgeoned To Death’ here:

SUICIDE SILENCE comments, “’Bludgeoned to Death’ is a fan favorite & one of the oldest songs we continue to perform live with regularity. We’re happy to share it here with you & to continue to propel the conversation of mental health awareness throughout the metal scene.”

Two weeks ago, the band released the live video for the first single, ‘Blind’ which can be seen here:

“Live & Mental” was produced by the band while mixing was handled by Josh Gilbert (Producer,WOVENWAR, AS I LAY DYING). The cover photos were shot by Jerry John Nicholl.

Hosted by Sirius XM metal DJ Jose Mangin & co-presented as an Affliction Metal Night, the night brought together the community to raise funds for the Mental Health America of Los Angeles. The sold out show raised nearly $17,000 towards the creation of a homeless healthcare center where “where people living on the streets with mental illness can come and get their needs met.”

SUICIDE SILENCE have partnered with Billboard.com to exclusively debut the powerful, new conceptual music video for ‘Dying In A Red Room’. The track comes off the band’s highly acclaimed, new full-length self-titled offering, which since yesterday is available everywhere on Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

Eddie Hermida (vocals) states: “The way ‘Dying In A Red Room’ came about was simply being on tour in the back lounge one crazy night and that riff was spewed out and stuck. We started jamming it and that song was done quick and natural. We wanted that song to be very fluid. The song is meant to be a love song to the ghosts we carry around with us. To never be afraid to be yourself or listen to your heart. In a way that is always what this band has wanted to represent. Fearlessness.”

SUICIDE SILENCE have released another song off their eagerly anticipated self-titled new album which is set to be released on February 24, 2017.

The brand-new, crushing track, ‘Silence’, can be streamed now below. All photos in this clip were shot by Randy Blythe (LAMB OF GOD vocalist). Blythe’s photography is also featured in-depth across the band’s new album layout.
