Sweden Rock Festival: Launched Band Competition 2015 – 1st Round

Sweden Rock Festival, held in Sölvesborg on June 3rd-6th 2015, has launched, via their Official Webpages, the band competition 2015, now ongoing the 1st round:

You can vote once a day per IP. Maximum 5 bands. The final day for voting is January 11. To vote, go HERE and listen to the bands by clicking the arrow to the left of the band.

The 25 bands that gets most votes will be going to a final voting round! The 3 to bands will win a gig at Sweden Rock 2015 and besides that, a jury from Sweden Rock will pick one more band as a “wild card”!

The 4 winners will get to play at Sweden Rock festival 3-6 June 2015 and beside the gig they will also get hotel, food and drinks for the show day and of course wristbands for the entire festival. Each band will also get a 5000 SEK fee to cover travel costs etc.

Sweden Rock Festival have announced the first bands that will play in 2015. Next year’s fest will take place from 3-6th June in Sölvesborg. The festival organisers listed the bands via their official Facebook page:

Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Toto, Backyard Babies, Hammerfall, D-A-D, Nuclear Assault, Dark Tranquillity, Lucifer’s Friend, The Angels, Exciter, The Quireboys, H.e.a.t, Rock Goddess, Hell, Delain, Wolf, Torsson and Steve’n’Seagulls.

“And remember: we have more than 70 bands left to announce!”

Sweden Rock Festival organizators have launched a Band Competition, for the next years edition, which will take place on June 3-6th, 2015 in Sölvesborg – Sweden. Read more below:

Do you want to play with your band at Sweden Rock Festival 2015?

Now it´’s time to start up our big band competition where, in the end, 4 bands will get a chance to play Sweden Rock Festival 2015.

Rules are simpel:
– You have to play some kind of rock that will fit into Sweden Rocks concept
– You have to have your music on the internet. A video is an extra +. The more and better material, the bigger chance to go through the first selection.
– It’s ok if you previously played Sweden Rock and if you already have a record contract. Everyone can sign up!

The sign up form will be up until November 30 and then a jury from Sweden Rock will choose the 200 best acts that will go to the first voting round.

The 25 bands that get most votes will then move on to a second voting round and in the end, the top 3 bands will get to play Sweden Rock Festival 2015!
Besides these 3 band a jury from Sweden Rock will pick one more band as a “wild card”!

The 4 winners will get to play at Sweden Rock Festival 3-6 June 2015 and beside the gig they will also gethotel, food and drinks for the show day and of course wristbands for the entire festival. Each band will also get a 5000 SEK fee to cover travel costs etc.

If you come from another country and don’t have the possibility to pay for travelling to Sweden by yourself, please don’t sign up.

Sweden Rock Festival 2015: To Announce First Bands At Rockbåten Cruise, Launch Ticket Sales On October 9th

Sweden Rock Festival (3-4-5-6 June 2015) organizators have issued, via their Official Website, as follows:

Tickets to be released on October 9th at 9 am! On Thursday October 9th at 09.00 in the morning, the first tickets for the 2015 edition of the Sweden Rock Festival will be made available!

Limited edition 3- and 4-day tickets will be released first, along with an equally limited batch of 4-day VIP tickets. All limited edition tickets include a unique Sweden Rock T-shirt. A total of just 3000 tickets, all varieties included, will be up for grabs.

When these 3000 tickets are sold out, the regular 3- and 4-day tickets and the 4-day VIP tickets will be made available. The regular tickets do not include a T-shirt. 1-day tickets will be made available in the spring.

The tickets will have two new features for next year: the first is that the official festival programme will be included in the ticket price. Until now, programmes have been sold at the festival area – next year you will get one for free when exchanging your ticket for a festival wrist band. The second new feature is that free WiFi access will also be included in the ticket price. WiFi access was available for purchase in 2014, but will now be available at open hot spots spread out over the festival area.

Everyone buying a festival ticket before Christmas will also have the chance to win one of 20 signed electric guitars and various other prices. Competitions will be held throughout the autumn, so the sooner you buy your ticket, the better your chance at winning.

The first confirmed artists for next year’s festival will be announce at the Rockbåten cruise on October 10th-12th and on our website shortly afterwards.
