On August 26, Swedish BLACK ROSE parted ways with lead singer Peter Thederan. According to the band, it was a a mutual decision, “We wish him all the best with his future projects.”
Today the band announced Jakob “Jacke” Sandberg, as their new singer via a post on their official page on Facebook.
Swedish BLACK ROSE was formed in 1990 in Fagersta, a small town in Sweden and released four studio albums up to now. Their style is Melodic Hard Rock/Metal, often compared to the likes of RAINBOW, YNGWIE, PRETTY MAIDS, TALISMAN, Pink Cream 69 and EUROPE.
Swedish heavy metallers BLACK ROSE have just released the video for their song ‘Never Let Me Down.’ The video was shot by White Bridges Film at the beginning of November and it is the third video for their newest album, “Turn On The Night.” The video can be seen on the youtube player below:

In December 2001 Shark Records got in contact with the band, a contract was signed and a 16-track CD was released late March 2002. The second release, called EXPLODE, on Shark Records was released 2004. Late 2007 two new (well, Thomas is the original BLACK ROSE-guitarist, so he isn’t that new…) members joined: guitarist Thomas Berg and vocalist Peter Thederan.

The record company posted: “BLACK ROSE will record a video for the opening song “Rise Again” from the forthcoming album “Turn On The Night”

The show managers stated: “It’s been a while since last time, but now we visited again by Fagersta hardrock pride BLACK ROSE! With a new album with his own material in his luggage and a number of cover hits, this will be a fantastic night of hard rock character.”
