“Colours in the Dark” is the fourth studio album released by Finnish vocalist TARJA TURUNEN. It was released in North America via Eagle Rock imprint Armoury Records on August 27, 2013. The ten-track effort was mixed and mastered by Tim Palmer (Pearl Jam, U2) in Austin, Texas and delivers over an hour of music which includes grandiose orchestra and choir arrangements, full of colour of heavy rock, mystery and elegance… yet rich of emotions, multihued landscapes and musical atmospheres.
Recently Metal Shock Finland‘s CEO Tarja Virmakari had a nice interview with her namesake Tarja, for Louder Than Hell, and the topics were strictly around “Colours In The Dark”, she told about the title, the songs and their colours, which also Tarja’s life has been full of in these past years.
