The full set. The full statement. This is Her Halo.
Melbourne progressive metal titans TERAMAZE have just unleashed their brand new single, “To Consume,” — a dark, cinematic and brutally melodic anthem that tears through the modern chaos of greed, distraction, and self-destruction.
But this release isn’t just another digital drop — it’s a statement.
With Spotify’s new artist policies causing a storm across the industry, TERAMAZE have decided to release “To Consume” early, and everywhere but Spotify.
“We’re done feeding the machine,” says Teramaze’s Dean Wells. “The new conditions being forced on artists are insulting — they’re trying to consume the very people that built their platform. We’d rather drop our music directly to the fans who actually give a damn.”
The band’s decision echoes a growing wave of frustration among musicians who’ve seen their art devalued by algorithms, unfair royalty models, and manipulative streaming thresholds. TERAMAZE, true to their reputation for authenticity and defiance, are taking the power back — and To Consume is the perfect sonic embodiment of that rebellion.
Mixing razor-sharp riffs, haunting vocal layers from Nathan Peachey, and Wells’ signature production brilliance, To Consume pushes the band’s modern progressive metal identity further than ever before — equal parts rage, elegance, and message.
“We dropped it without warning, without the usual streaming hype cycle,” says journalist Johnny Inferno. “Because this isn’t about playlists or payouts — it’s about reminding people that metal still stands for something.”
To Consume is available now via Bandcamp, YouTube, Apple Music, and all major platforms — except the one that’s forgotten who music is really for. Mixed / Produced By Dean Wells.
Australian progressive metal masters Teramaze have unveiled a brand-new 2025 remixed and remastered version of their powerful track Chaos in the Way.
The song marks the beginning of a special series where the band revisits select highlights from their extensive catalogue—breathing new life into tracks that deserve extra attention amidst the sheer volume of music they’ve released over the years.
“We’re excited to bring you the 2025 remixed and remastered version of Chaos in the Way. This track is part of a series where we revisit and breathe new life into selected songs from our catalogue—songs we feel deserve extra attention because of the sheer amount of music we’ve released over the years. Enjoy the new Chaos in the Way.” – Teramaze
Chaos in the Way (2025) is now available on YouTube and Bandcamp.
Straight out of the vault and onto your screens—Aussie prog-metal titans TERAMAZE have dropped the live video of An Ordinary Dream (Enla Momento), ripped straight from their upcoming Her Halo – Live at Bakehouse Studios DVD.
Captured in stunning quality, this performance proves why Her Halo cemented its place as a game-changer in Teramaze’s career. With every soaring chorus, crushing riff, and spine-tingling moment, the band shows they’re at the absolute peak of their craft.

TERAMAZE’s dark new single Suspended, In Love continues the mystery woven through songs like Lake 401 and Jackie Seth. The track dives deeper into the unsettling truth of a male stalker and his obsession growing more and more potent. Told through haunting melodies and intense dynamics, the song captures the helplessness of a victims emotional imprisonment, blurring the lines of love and control. Suspended, In Love is a chilling yet compelling new release in the ongoing concept across our multiple albums.
Dean says: yeah, the pr company we were hiring tried to stop us from releasing this early, so here it is !!
