LAMB OF GOD To Perform On Newly-Announced Second North American Leg Of SLAYER’s Final World Tour

Due to popular demand, with more than half of the tour’s leg one dates already or nearly sold out, SLAYER has announced a second North American leg of their final world tour – and LAMB OF GOD is set to continue on as direct support.

The second leg of the tour will begin Thursday, July 26 at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH, and will travel to 20 cities over the course of nearly five weeks, culminating at San Jose’s SAP Center on August 26. In addition to LAMB OF GOD, ANTHRAX, TESTAMENT, and NAPALM DEATH will support SLAYER on all dates.

Last Summer, TESTAMENT’s Steve Di Giorgio teamed up with Tim “Ripper” Owens, Chris Caffery and Mark Zonder, to launch a new musical project, entitled SPIRITS OF FIRE (after the title of one of their songs)! This outstanding supergroup is currently recording their debut album. The music can best be described as “classic Priest meets Savatage”. Steve Di Giorgio has unleashed a small taster, tracking bass for the upcoming debut, watch it at this location.

“A small clip tracking some bass for the upcoming album from Spirits Of Fire. Obviously just a cellphone mic picking up lots of ambient noise and thin sound from the monitors. But in the headphones it sounds killer! The songs are in final mixing phase now handled by Roy Z. The album also features the talents of Tim Ripper Owens, Chris Caffery, and Mark Zonder & Steve Di Giorgio Official – SDG. Put together by the mighty Frontiers Music srl in Naples Italy.”

Italian thrash-metal legends EXTREMA are confirmed for Rock The Castle 2018, going onstage on June 30th, alongside MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, SODOM and DESTRUCTION! “The end is near… SLAYER TO MAKE ITS EXIT WITH ONE FINAL WORLD TOUR!”

SLAYER have announced the first leg of One Final World Tour with LAMB OF GOD, ANTHRAX, BEHEMOTH and TESTAMENT:

After making some of the most brutal, breathtakingly aggressive, all-hell’s-a-breaking-loose music ever created, playing nearly 3000 concerts in all corners of the world, receiving countless awards, gracing hundreds of magazine covers, experiencing the devastating loss of a founding brother, and even appearing on “The Tonight Show,” the age of Slayer, one of the greatest thrash/ metal/punk bands of this or any age, is coming to an end.

Slayer will do one last concert tour around the globe to thank their fans for all of their support over the years, for making the last three-and-a-half decades so packed with good times and unforgettable experiences, and will then move on.

Lamb of God, Anthrax, Behemoth and Testament will support Slayer on the first leg, North America, of its final world tour.

Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, January 26 at 10AM local time.
