The band just premiered another new music video, entitled “First Encounter” which is the second music video from their new full-length album Outer Space Outtakes which was just released on March 14, 2025 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced by Weed and E.T., alongside Frank Marchand (Fiona Apple, Nils Lofgren) at Waterford Digital, and mastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Monster Magnet, Fleetwood Mac) at West West Side Music.

“We made the video for this song because we are very sure we are not alone in the universe”, says bassist Weed. “wouldn’t it be grand If aliens came to earth with party favors instead of human-eliminating laser weapons. It’s always a great time working with E.T. on the videos because he has a unique understanding of the vision since he is in the band and helps write the songs. In true spirit of the song, we filmed after a cross-country flight and about 20 beers and liquor throughout the day…  I’m happy the video turned out to be so cool, because I barley remember filming it!”

“The video for Come Home is about a woman making her way back home after straying/breaking up”, says bass guitarist Jon Weed. “While the guy may think getting back together with her is a move toward happiness again, she is the devil in disguise. This is the first single we released with aggressive alternative/hard rock, power ballad sensibility. The message to fans is to always be careful going back to something that was toxic in the past, because there is a very good chance that the second time around will be worse than the first… Unless you are prepared to dance with the devil, you should run the other way as quickly as possible!”

“We shot this video because the best way to face the challenges ahead in earthly life is with a fortified exterior and a gut full of whiskey,” says bassist Weed. “As per usual with the filming of our videos, the band was visited by aliens on the set.  Luckily for the band, the aliens seem to be friendly and have a real interest in the music we are creating.  (We suspect a few of them are repeat visitors, but we have not made a confirmation quite yet as they all look very similar).  The most difficult part of filming this video was consuming the vast amounts of whiskey that was being forced down our throats by the aliens…  What started out as a good time in the woods with beings from beyond, quickly became a bit excessive and made the most basic of tasks (standing up, holding an instrument, etc.) difficult.  ET tried to negotiate a trade with the aliens to go aboard one of their spacecrafts in return for additional new music about their travels to Earth, but that request was met with blank stares.”
