Blackburn’s alt-rock quartet THE RUBY TUESDAYS return with their debut EP Food For Thought, set to be released digitally via Golden Robot Records, March 17.
 
Food For Thought, a blistering fever of gritty instrumentation and powerful vocal arrangements. This EP is the epitome of what makes rock music, a fusion of past and present influences to create an outstanding rock anthem.
 
The title Food For Thought is a lyric from one of the EP’s tracks and reflects truly what the EP represents for the band. Each track is a different branch of the band’s core alternative-rock sound and tells of a journey of change throughout their lyrics. This really is The Tuesdays’ magnus opus and is certain to be what helps them break to a wider audience.

The Ruby Tuesdays are a rapidly growing force in the scene, having ripped up their hometown of Blackburn, their fan base is becoming nationwide. Their debut single ‘Who You Running From’ reached over 20,000 streams within the first week of its release. The band’s sophomore single ‘Rivers of Gold’ landed at no.5 on the UK’s official vinyl singles chart and debuted on ITV’s Granada Reports alongside a live performance and interview with the band. All of this done completely independently, prior to any help of a label or management.
 
In 2022 the band signed with global independent record label, Golden Robot Records.

‘Feel So Good‘ is The Tuesdays’ nod to the West Coast grunge movement that swept the 90’s, a detuned rock anthem that’s lyrics hit as hard as its instrumentation. In addition to releasing the track, The Ruby Tuesdays have released a new music video embracing the themes of the song.
