Finally one of the greatest albums of the Brazilian Power Metal, SCELERATA’s world-acclaimed ‘The Sniper’, reached the platform of the moment: Spotify.

Originally released in 2012, ‘The Sniper’ presents a much more mature and cohesive band. On this album, the band delivers heavier and more aggressive sound, beautifully combined with the prog and melodic elements already present in the previous releases. The lyrics on this album approaches a sad issue most countries have to deal with: corruption in politics.

‘The Sniper’ was produced, mixed and mastered by German top metal producer Charlie Bauerfeind. Its drum tracks were recorded in Germany, at legendary German metal band Blind Guardian studios, the Twilight Hall Studios. It features metal legends Andi Deris (Helloween) and Paul Di’Anno (former Iron Maiden) as special guests, not only as singers, but also as composers and co-writers. The disc was acclaimed worldwide. In Brazil it was voted 2nd best release of 2012 by the readers of Roadie Crew magazine, being placed right behind Brazilian metal superstar André Matos. The international success is also impressive, since the album had dozens of positive reviews, most of them gracing the band with the highest score.

SCELERATA right now is working on its fourth album. Always searching for higher quality and to work with top professionals in the metal music business, Scelerata decided to record the drum tracks in Los Angeles at Daufembach Studios, with top Brazilian metal producer Adair Daufembach (Tony MacAlpine, Dirk Verbeuren, Aquiles Priester). The drums were recorded in June, 2017, and the band is working on the production in their native country Brazil. The band promises to deliver to the fans some fresh, innovative, aggressive and melodic metal!

Brazilian heavy metallers SCELERATA have released another song of their performance at OpenStage. This time the chosen song was taken from the latest album, ‘The Sniper’, record that established the band’s name among some of the most beloved Power Metal bands in Europe, Japan and of course, Brazil.

The song is ‘In My Blood’, which in its original version featured vocalist Paul Di’Anno (former Iron Maiden) and here has a unique interpretation of vocalist Jonathas Pozo.

Again the technical work of capture, edition and production of audio and video was in the hands of the professionals: arcos Strapazon (MD5 Produtora), Ilson Bolzan, Lair Raupp, Magnus Wichmann and Marcel van der Zwam. Watch:

Brazilian heavy metal band SCELERATA Drummer Francis Cassol is featuring at Drum Talk TV – Facebook’s top fanpage about drums and drumming – with his video, recording SCELERATA‘s 3rd album “The Sniper”. It’s a 2 minute video that sums up all the drum sessions.

The drum sessions for “The Sniper” album were recorded at Blind Guardian‘s Twilight Hall Studios and was produced by producer Charlie Bauerfeind (Blind Guardian, Helloween, Motörhead, Saxon, Hammerfall).

SCELERATA Posts New Music Video For “Rising Sun”

Brazil’s SCELERATA has posted a new music video for the track “Rising Sun”. The song appears on the band’s third and latest LP “The Sniper,” which was produced by Charlie Bauerfiend (Motörhead/Helloween/Blind Guardian/Halford/Angra/Rage) and guitarist Renato Osorio.

“The Sniper” was just released through Voice Music (South America) and Spiritual Beast (Asia). For more information on where to purchase the album in your country, head over to this location. SCELERATA: Making Of “The Sniper”

Brazilian metal band Scelerata posted the first part of the video footage with the recordings of their third album, entitled “The Sniper”. The album was produced by Charlie Bauerfiend (Motörhead, Helloween, Blind Guardian, Halford, Angra, Rage, among others) and Renato Osorio, and had its drum tracks recorded in Blind Guardian’s studio, the Twilight Hall Studios in Germany. The band recently announced on its official website the new song “Must Be Dreaming,” which was composed by vocalist Andi Deris (Helloween) especially for the band. Not only did Andi write the song, he also sings, sharing vocals with Fabio Juan, Scelerata’s singer. Check it out here: www.scelerata.com
