Thence, Debut Album To Be Released In March

Finnish Progressive/ambient/metal band Thence has issued the following press release:

Thence, new Finnish band consisting Juha Sirkkiä and Erno Räsänen from Shade Empire are releasing Thence’s debut album called “These Stones Cry from the Earth”. Release date is set to 16.3.2010 and it will come out through BlackBay Productions. Album pre-order is available now at Recordshop Äx.

Thence was founded already in 2003 and finally now there was an opportunity to release a full length album. These Stones Cry from the Earth is the band’s debut album and it is a nearly hour-long epic, consisting  only of one song.

Thence line up:

Juha Sirkkiä – Vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards, grand piano & harmonica
Erno Räsänen – Drums, percussions & 12-string guitar

Shade Empire Members To Release Thence Debut

Thence, the new Finnish band featuring Shade Empire members Juha Sirkkiä and Erno Räsänen, will release its debut album, “These Stones Cry From The Earth”, in late 2010/early 2011.

Thence’s music could be described as a combination of rock, metal, prog and also a touch of jazz and blues. Guidelines might be better served by bands like Katatonia, Anathema, Porcupine Tree and Pink Floyd.

Thence lineup is:

* Juha Sirkkiä – Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Grand Piano, Harmonica
* Erno Räsänen – Drums, Percussion, 12-String Guitar
