Swedish black metal force THIS GIFT IS A CURSE‘s new album, ‘All Hail the Swinelord’ is out worldwide, and streaming here.

‘All Hail the Swinelord’ which is being called “a standing example of what black metal as a whole should represent” (CvltNation), and “infernal cacophony…Rarely has the phrase “extreme music” been as apt as it is here” (MetalSucks) is available across multiple CD and LP formats at the Season of Mist E-Shop and the band’s official Bandcamp Page.

Regarding the album, the band comment:

“We feel that ‘All Hail the Swinelord’ is the band’s best and most refined work yet. This concerns both our musical vision as well as its occult themes. The sharp violent chaos comes from the same black sludgy source as before. Yet this time, we are stabbing with more precision and aim, because we now know where to strike to deliver some real damage!”

Swedish black metal instigators THIS GIFT IS A CURSE have announced the title and album details for their Season of Mist debut, “All Hail the Swinelord”. The band’s new full-length will be released internationally on October 16.

THIS GIFT IS A CURSE are streaming a scathing new track, titled “Swinelord” at CVLT Nation. Pre-orders for the band’s new  album are available across multiple CD and LP formats at the Season of Mist E-Shop.

Regarding the new album, the band comments:

“When entering the studio, we were determined not to repeat what was done on previous recordings – instead we wanted to broaden our spectra of sound, making it even more dark and vicious at the same time letting melodies have a place as well as suggestive drone soundscapes. To be able to push our boundaries even further, we borrowed hands from fellow musicians, whom we had gotten to know during the years. This album thus contains guest vocals by Lillie Lindahl (Promise and the Monster, Ştiu Nu Ştiu), Johan G. Winther (Scraps of Tape) and Christina lom (Agrimonia). Their talent added a new dimension to the songs and to the album as an entity.”

The band continues:

Swedish THIS GIFT IS A CURSE  has issued the following update:

Stockholmbased Discouraged act This Gift Is A Curse who released their debut EP in 2010, is ready for the next chapter.
Album
The selftitled EP gained alot of great reviews all over europe and the band have been constantly touring since its release. Now the band completed the recordings of their upcoming debut album which will contain 9 songs and is beeing mixed in this very moment. Handeling the recording is Magnus Björk know for his work with Meleeh and Children of Fall. More info about the album will come soon
European Tour
The band will head out for a 16 day long european tour together with Italian dark hardcore act “Curse This Ocean” and will take them through 8 countries: Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Austria, Romania and Hungary.
