
Internationally acclaimed 7 string guitarist, singer, songwriter and pianist THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF has released a new music video for her beautiful, catchy, new song “Time to Say Goodbye”, taken from her critically acclaimed latest album, “Berit – Vol. 1”.

This is the 7th music video from the album, with a song that showcases both the incredible beauty of her voice, her flawless skills as a professionally trained classical singer and her ability to write memorable and catchy songs.
“Berit – Vol. 1” is the first of 4 albums with new, original, acoustic music (with some jazz, blues, pop and rock in it) from her.
She is almost done recording album 2, with album 3 and 4 scheduled to be recorded over the next 2 months. From her very first release, 10 years ago, she has been praised for her ability to created her very own music style, no matter what genre she writes in – a rare gift today.

After her smashing success in heavy metal, with features in many of the biggest music magazines In the world;
“The new queen of shred!” (Total Guitar Magazine) and “1 of 10 guitar gods!” (Metal Hammer, UK), TV and festival appearances, etc, she successfully crossed over to classical crossover music in 2013, with her first in the world guitar version of Sarasate’s masterpiece for violin “Zigeunerweisen Op.20.”
The video went viral and was featured on Guitar World Magazine’s “Top 10 videos of the year,” in addition to press worldwide.
In 2014 she released a classical crossover album, in collaboration with world leading classical guitarist Craig Ogden. The album charted at number 1 on Amazon.com and their Paganini Caprice 24 video was on Guitar World’s “Top 10 viral videos of the year,” on The Guardian’s “Top 10 metal meets classical.”
In 2015 and 2017 she was an expert judge and vocal coach on Norway’s biggest Saturday night live TV show, “Stjernekamp,” or “Battle of the stars,” where 10 Norwegian superstars compete to become the ultimate star.
From November 2016 until the summer of 2018 she battled some serious health issues, after a parasite infection (Krypto). It was a great victory to return to music last year, after 9 months of not even touching her guitar. She has given a few smaller concerts since then, but her main focus now is to record as much of her new music as possible, while she is working very hard to build up enough energy and strength to perform the extremely challenging repertory she has again.
She plans to officially return to performing in 2020, with some very ambitious and unique concerts planned, showcasing the true versatility and magnitude of her many talents.
