Bassist Tomas Celechovsky of the Czech Republic-based classical symphonic metal band SYMPHONITY (formerly NEMESIS) lost his battle with panreactic cancer on June 27.

Celechovsky joined SYMPHONITY in 2004, one year after the release of the band’s debut album, “Goddess Of Revenge”, which was made available under the band name NEMESIS via Underground Symphony Records.

SYMPHONITY‘s second album, “Voice From The Silence”, was released in 2008 through Limb Music Products.

The band’s current lineup includes German vocalist Olaf Hayer, who previously sang on albums from Luca Turilli (RHAPSODY) and DIONYSUS.
