Tokyo, Japan’s death metal stalwarts DEFILED, formed in 1992, have released their new album, ‘Towards Inevitable Ruin’, via Season Of Mist, it’s their first new album in over 4 years. The album is streaming now at the official DEFILED Bandcamp page.

‘Towards Inevitable Ruin’, hailed as “so many things the current modern metal scene (or even grindcore) is not, it’s a winner. Score this one for the human element…songs that are brutal as they are effective.” (Dead Rhetoric) is available here. DEFILED have announced a string of shows in Japan in support of their new album. The “Fear from Far East” tour begins on July 14 in Osaka, and sees the band travel throughout Tokyo, Nagoya, and more before concluding on July 18. A full list of confirmed tour dates including a special one-off in Seoul, South Korea can be found below.
