Spain, Albacete based Groove/Thrash Metal combo TOXOVIBORA are now immersed in the recording process of their new and second yet untitled Album, to be released via Art Gates Records.

In words of the band:
“This second album is for us an advance in technique and a very important creative leap which translates into more powerful themes, getting deeper in the personal sound of Toxovibora. We’re very happy with the result. It’s going to be a very varied album, including some surprises. In general, harder tracks with some head smashing riffs …But there is a lot of melody with our sharp critical lyrics”.

The album was recorded the album at La Guarida de Kreggor and the mixing and mastering are handled by Pablo Alcázar from Overwrite producciones.

These experimented thrashers already surprised us with their debut “Primer Ataque”; and this time they return with an edgier and more aggressive sound than ever. Get ready for the second bite of the serpent! More news soon about this upcoming release!!!

Art Gates Records has issued that the thrash/Groove Metal act TOXOVIBORA have recently released the first single extracted from their debut “Primer Ataque”. The chosen track is entitled “High School Massacre” and you can listen to it below.

TOXOVIBORA: Album Cover, Title And Tracklist Revealed

Art Gates Records has issued that the thrash metal combo from Albacete (Spain) TOXOVIBORA reveal the artwork cover for their debut album. The artwork is an adaptation of the graphic designer “Lemut”.

It was selected to represent the ancestral fear of the man, the snake. The futuristic influences are linked to the concept of the new wave of metal music. In this album there is a combination of the legendary thrash metal sounds of the ’90 and modern influences such as the Groove.

The title of the album is “Primer Ataque” (First Attack) and represents the first impact of the band in a professional recording process. This name comes from the fact that this is the first full length from “Toxovibora”, represented as the first attack of a snake.

The band comments: “In our opinion, we reflected perfectly the sound that characterizes the band, a strong base, addictive and sharp guitar riffs, combined with a raw voice that spits conscious lyrics”.

“Primer ataque” has been recorded in “La guarida de Kreggor” Studios, in Hellín, Albacete (Spain), by Pablo Alcazar. The spanish release date is fixed for the 18th of February of 2013, and the 1st of March the album will be released in Europe and rest of the world through Code 7 and PHD Distribution.

It is with great pride that we announce the signing of the thrash metal/crossover combo from Albacete (Spain) “Toxovibora” with Art Gates Records.
Based in Spain, a town that the English translated as “In Hell”, you can’t expect anything good.
In line with thrash and death metal sounds of the 90′s bands such as Pantera, Slayer or Megadeth, but with the freshness of the new generations, this band combines a biting and sharp-edged sound, heartrending riffs, a powerful rhythmic base along with committed and raw lyrics.
Despite the short-life of the band, their level is really high, knowing that all its members were part of several formations with years of experience.
