Members of the hard rock/heavy metal world have paid tribute to legendary New York City icon LOU REED – who was leader of the influential VELVET UNDERGROUND. He died yesterday (Sunday, October 27), at the age of 71. His last recordings included a collaboration with METALLICA on Lulu and also was a member of the Rock And Roll and Long Island Music Hall Of Fame.
