STRATOVARIUS, LAMA, DREAMTALE, BETRAYAL AT BESPIN Added To TUSKA 2013 Line Up

Tuska Open Air Metal Festival has issued the following update:

Tuska festival taking place in Suvilahti, Helsinki, Finland during June 28-30 has confirmed more acts to the 2013 line up.

Fans of melodic metal are treated with proper dosage as the legendary STRATOVARIUS and up and coming DREAMTALE will be taking the stage at Tuska. Stratovarius will be appearing on Sunday and Dreamtale on Friday. One of Finland’s all time punk greats, LAMA will be spicing things up on Saturday June 29. Finland’s atmospheric BETRAYAL AT BESPIN have been added to the bill for Sunday June 30.

A few more additions will be made to complete the line up of more than 40 bands during the weekend. Exact schedules will be revealed at the turn of the month.

IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FESTIVAL AREA
Suvilahti festival area will undergo some welcome renovations as the outdoor stages will be situated differently to maximize the live music experience. Due to relocation of the stages, the tent stage will be replaced with greatly enhanced food court. Third stage located indoors in the Kattilahalli building has also gone through a major facelift with better sound and cozier atmosphere. The map of the improved Tuska festival area will be revealed in early June.

Finland’s biggest metal festival, Tuska Open Air, taking place in Suvilahti, Helsinki, Finland on June 28-30 has announced more bands for next summer’s festivities.

German thrash titans KREATOR have been added to the bill for Saturday June 29. Other new international additions are Sweden’s SOILWORK who are on the verge of releasing a new album, Dutch black metallers URFAUST, German metalcore heroes WE BUTTER THE BREAD WITH BUTTER as well as Danish rockers BLACK CITY.

Finland’s finest are represented by the likes of death metal greats TORTURE KILLER, up and comers KUOLEMANLAAKSO, technical death metal act DE LIRIUM’S ORDER, hard rocking BARBE-Q-BARBIES, Finland’s most entertaining hardcore group RATFACE, groovy BLOODRED HOURGLASS and the psychedelic DARK BUDDHA RISING.

TUSKA 2013: Announced More Bands For Next Summer

TUSKA OPEN AIR has issued as follows:

Tuska Open Air Metal Festival taking place in Suvilahti event field in Helsinki, Finland on June 28.-30.2013 has announced more Artists for next summer.

Sunday June 30 will witness Suvilahti getting dominated by Finland’s number 1 metal band of all time, NIGHTWISH. Dutch FLOOR JANSEN recently took over the singer position in the group and the reports from the tour claim that the band sounds tighter than ever. Also, NIGHTWISH’s anticipated “Imaginaerum” movie will be premiering next month.

Also added in the festival program, is the Norwegian progressive, avant garde, black metal phenomenon IHSAHN, whose latest album “Eremita” was released to critical acclaim.

IHSAHN’s fellow Norwegians, progressive unit LEPROUS have also been added to the bill. Both IHSAHN and LEPROUS will be performing on Friday June 28.
