TUSKA OPEN AIR has issued the following:

Finland’s biggest metal festival, Tuska Open Air Metal Festival will be held next weekend in Helsinki, Finland. The three day bacchanal headlined by MEGADETH, SABATON and MINISTRY offers plenty of opportunities to get comfortable.

BAR SERVICES
In addition to the regular bars, you can enjoy a cold one several dozen meters above the festival area at the Janne Niska Sky Bar. New addition is the Puistobaari, which allows you to stretch your limbs in the grassy atmosphere.

EMP SIGNING SESSIONS
EMP will once again organize the signing sessions at Tuska. Check the Tuska webpage or the EMP Finland Facebook page for exact schedules. Note that these sessions are usually confirmed on the day of the show.

VIP GUEST DONATE FOR CHARITY
Tuska gathers a 10 euro donation from all VIP guests. These funds go directly to the following causes: Amnesty & Teemu Raimorannan Rahasto.

Advance ticket prices: 3 days 115 euros, 2 days 90 euros, one day 65 euros.

Tickets from the festival box office: 3 days 130 euros, 2 days 100 euros, one day 75 euros.

TUSKA OPEN AIR has issued the following:

All 3-day tickets will be exchanged for a wristband which allows you to leave and re-enter the festival area during festival days. The ticket can be exchanged for a wristband in advance.

Note! Only 3-day tickets will be exchanged for wristbands. All other ticket catergories allow you to enter the festival site once a day only. All tickets will be verified electronically at the festival gate or when collecting the wristband.

3-day ticket must be exchanged for a wristband personally. The wristband will be attached to the ticket holders wrist when collecting the wristband. Separate wristbands will not be given out.

The Pre-Exhchange point is located at the Tiketti ticket agency, address: Urho Kekkosen katu 4 – 6, 00100 Helsinki.
Pre-exchange point is open during the following times:

Wed 27.6. 12.00-19.00
Thu 28.6. 12.00-19.00

The wristbands can also be exchanged at the festival gate (Parrukatu 2-4) starting at 11.00 on Friday 29.6, an hour before festival gates open.

When entering the festival, there will be a separate line for those who have exchanged their wristband in advance.

TUS-KAVERILIPPU GROUP TICKET
Customers who have bought group ticket “Tus-Kaverilippu” must all be present when collecting the wristbands. If this is not possible, and the ticket holders must arrive at the festival site separately, they can tell the staff at the festival ticket office that part of the group will arrive later and leave their ticket code and personal information of those arriving later (name and social secutiry number) at the festival ticket office. Those arrving later can claim their wristbands by presenting the ticket code AND official ID. It is very important that all group ticket holders know the ticket code, with this the ticket info can be found in the ticket agency system.

VIP-PASSES
Customers who have bought the VIP-pass will be sent an email about the VIP-pass details. VIP-passes will be collected from the festival area’s VIP/Press -entrance at Sörnaisten Rantatie. If you have bought VIP-pass from Tiketti and have not received the info email by Tuesday 26.6. contact info(at)tiketti.fi.

The line up for Finland’s premiere metal festival, Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this summer, is now complete. The final nail in the coffin for the 2012 program is Finnish experimental and heavy electro outfit Huoratron, who recently released their new “Cryptocracy”-album.

TUSKA APPLICATION
Tuska Festival is finally cathing up with the times, as the first ever Tuska app will be released shortly, in co-operation with Tieto. The app will be free and available in early June. The app will have essential info about festival, schedules and band introductions, among other things. More precise info about the Tuska app soonish on the Tuska web site and social media.

New additions for Friday June 29th are French atmospheric metallers ALCEST, Finnish stoner patrol DEMONIC DEATH JUDGE and progressive ODDLAND who just released their highly acclaimed debut album.

Saturday program has been solidified by British black metal group ANAAL NATHRAKH and up and coming Finnish heavy metal squad EVIL-LŸN.

Sunday July 1st line has been completed by the addition of BATTLE BEAST.
