In recent months, the Milan-based grunge band ULTRABLAST has been shining a spotlight on their music through a series of powerful singles released via Volcano Records & Promotion.

Today, the label adds another piece to the image of an inspired and healthy group by releasing the single “On A Wheel”. The track showcases the strength of an original group that firmly situates itself in the modern international post-grunge scene. It’s available on all online platforms and on YouTube, accompanied by a lyric video that allows us to focus on the lyrics and, most importantly, on the message well-supported by the energy of a compelling rhythm section and relentless distorted guitar riffs.

Volcano Records recently introduced ULTRABLAST, a young band with a powerful grunge influence, and today the group is ready to make themselves heard with a new single titled “My Fault”.

The track is available on all online platforms and on YouTube, accompanied by a captivating music video. It showcases the strength of a band that, despite a distinct stylistic signature, can explore diverse musical territories. This includes adding European punk influences and echoes of David Bowie, filtered through a sharp vocal delivery and a powerful combination of rhythm and guitars that packs a punch.

The band’s description of the song is quite telling: “an dreamy guitar introduces an unstoppable groove that compels you to keep time, swaying back and forth. Clean and essential bass and drums. Italians ULTRABLAST released today a song called ‘Drive Me Away’, first single through Volcano Records & Promotion.

Ultrablast is a grunge, or better a post-grunge collective based in Northern Italy born in the middle of the pandemic. Driven by a strong sense of community, Ultrablast put these values into their music and ‘Drive Me Away’ is intended to be a hymn to the power of friendship that supports, comforts and cares when life goes in pieces. Nervous drumming, dirty and obsessive bass, guitar between metal references and ethereal phrasing support a scratchy and hitting voice.
