Finnish grind-crust band Unborn Generation has released their 7th album titled “…and All We Forget”. It includes 10 songs of brutally frost-bound grind/crust. The lyrics describe a world long after an apocalypse; rebuilding has begun. Yet the post-apocalypse generations have learnt nothing, and remain ignorant as the sins of the fathers are repeated all over again.

The band’s singer/guitarist Herkko Huttunen was responsible for the album’s production (recording, mixing and mastering), excluding the drum recording, which was handled by Tuomas Kokko (Electric Fox Studios). The album is published by Inverse Records.

“Kruunu” is the third and last single of the upcoming album of UNBORN GENERATION. The gloomy composition carries the story all the way from the beginning to the end of the song without giving any hope along the way. The song tells the story of how the crown is too big and heavy for a despot to carry. The false image of a better tomorrow created with the help of power and violence begins to crack, and the people rise to the barricades. Power must change, even if by violence.

The second single from UNBORN GENERATION‘s upcoming album is called “Rattus”. The musical expression is fierce from start to finish. A grind-driven song, the chorus of which is seasoned with melancholic despair. The lyrics deal with a type of person who, regardless of means, rises to power and holds on to it by oppressing the weak. The image is painted of a dystopia, to which modern man’s choices have led and yet humanity in their selfishness, cannot admit they’ve made bad decisions.
