UNBORN PROPHECY have unleashed their strings playthrough video for ‘Ancient Alchemy’, taken from the band’s album “Waking Our Ancient Memories”, out via Wormholedeath.

“Waking Our Ancient Memories” is a conceptual album inspired by the apocalyptic prophecies of ancient cultures from our world, their philosophy, and ancestral wisdom, as well as the aboriginal roots of the members. In this album, the band is focused on developing their original sound inspired by our ancient roots and the fury of nature, with an extreme sound influenced by Technical and Groove metal bands like Opeth, Obscura, Gojira, and Decapitated.

Costa Rican Progressive Death Metal band, UNBORN PROPHECY, has just released a playthrough video for their track, “Awakening of Tiamat”, from their highly acclaimed album “Waking Our Ancient Memories”.

Filmed in Juan Carlos studio, this track captures their music’s essence. Juan Carlos comments: “This track is very special to us. It is the title track of the album, well originally it had the name of the album, so we really put all of our energy into creating this one. At the time of recording, I had a difficult time with this one because I had to use double strokes to get the recording done, but you can clearly see in the video that now I use single strokes. This is the best representation of how we have evolved with our music. I am more confident playing this song live now than before, and it is probably one of our most energetic songs on stage.

For curious readers, the voices at the beginning of the song are our own, screaming specific deities’ names in Bri-Bri, an indigenous language from Costa Rica.”

Costa Rica’s Progressive Death Metallers UNBORN PROPHECY have announced that they have signed with Wormholedeath records for the release of their upcoming album “Waking Our Ancient Memories”. The album, which was recorded by the renowned metal music producer and sound engineer Marcos Monnerat at Stereorat Studios, is set to release on 28/04/2023.
