Polish death metal legends VADER -who, in these difficult times, have just concluded their successful European “Pandemic Madness Tour 2020”, nearly each show sold-out, with special guest MASS WORSHIP – have issued a tour recap, read below.
“European part of PANDEMIC MADNESS Tour 2020 is over. Last Wednesday in city of Košice (Slovakia) with last riff of “Cold Demons” we finished our adventure in this hard and crazy pandemia times. Together with our Swedish Friends from Mass Worship VADER visited 12 from 13 planed places in Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Austria , Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Only one concert in Bratislava had to be cancelled , because of COVID19 alert. However WE MADE it !!! This great tour could not be possible without huge work of many people: Massive Music with great team working in the office (Jarek , Marta) and Mariusz Kmiolek as VADER manager and chief of the agency; our BEST in the world crew: Daniel (FOH), Ziut (Lighs & Fog engineer), Kuba (guitar tech), Vacek (drum tech), Darek (merch & TM) and Jacek (bus driver). We’d like to send many THX to ALL promotors in the clubs for outstanding hospitality and great time. Another huge help came from the companies and Friends supporting us with great gear and equipment, which made all the shows so extraordinary and real Metal: Brighter Lighting for magic lights, we used on stage; Ermland Cases for professional, panzer cases to protect our gear; DL David Laboga for powerful cables, And FIRST OF ALL – we wanna THANK to all of YOU – our Fans and Friends, who came to meet us and take part in this special Tour indeed. Your support will NEVER be forgotten \m/ SEE YOU NEXT TIME !!!!!”

Never one to rest or relax, VADER have done it all over the course of their 37-year history. From playing super-aggressive thrash under the watchful eye of Communist Poland to touring the globe and enjoying a near-maniacal fanbase, there’s no stopping the Piotr ‘Peter’ Wiwczarek-led outfit. Speed and power are back as the driving factors in VADER’s fiendish yet proficient death metal!
For Solitude in Madness, VADER went outside their comfort zone to Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, England, where the band teamed up with one-stop-shop Scott Atkins to engineer, produce, mix, and master for four weeks in summer 2019.

“Humanity never learns from its lessons,” says Wiwczarek. “I feel tensions continuing to rise around the world. People have forgotten about true pain, from a bigger picture standpoint. Generationally, the new generation doesn’t respect the old, and I’d challenge they don’t even respect themselves. Our everyday lives are on TV, so there’s no soul left. Everything’s empty. I think technology is also sucking the human out of us. There are more lonely people now than ever before, and yet we’re supposed to be connected together by technology. It’s madness! That’s where the title, Solitude In Madness, came from, actually. Of course, I approach these topics in a very Vader way. I love telling stories and expressing myself through those stories.“
