There has been a furious pace for Sweden-stationed VELVET INSANE. Since its inception in October 2013, the young boys had become one of Sweden’s hottest unsigned band where the debut EP “Youth On Fire” got a break in particularly in countries such as Thailand, Japan and Australia, where the latter country was visited for a tour over February this year, which included four gigs in cities that “Sidney, Canberra and Wollongong.”

Since their return from Australia, the band has been in a creative process when it comes to songwriting and the development of their artistic concepts, something you will notice on the band’s forthcoming EP “Break out of Eden” set to be released on June 6th 2015. The band Founder Jesper Lindgren says: “If the last album had a strong emphasis on VELVET so will the new creation have a strong emphasis on Insane, something you particularly will notice in the lyrics.”

The band’s lead singer Jonas Eriksson explains: “The lyrics on” Youth On Fire “was about to live the dream of success. Lyrics on ” Break Out Of Eden “is more about a reality perspective, like alienation, the search for something meaningful, to dare to believe in yourself , daring to be different, about the balance between pain and joy. One could say that the lyrics General about the human blood. ”

The album was recorded in ESTA studio in Barkaby outside Stockholm, where also the “Youth on Fire” was recorded. The album is mixed by “Jari Räsäsnen” who also mixed the previous album.

Jesper says, “Break Out Of Eden” will deliver a larger sound than the previous album had. Jari is  more oriented in today’s metal scene which has benefited us since he’s been extremely receptive to the band’s musical vision which has given “Break Out Of Eden” its unique sound. ”

Velvet Insane new EP “break Out Of Eden” will be released on june 2nd, the musicvideo for the title track will be released Friday 5th of June.
