DAWN OF A DARK AGE, extreme avant-garde black metal band led by multi-instrumentalist Vittorio Sabelli, have released an official lyric video for the song “Enonga’s Bells 1566 a.d.”, check it out below. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album “The Six Elements, vol.3 – Fire”, out next july, 1st.

DAWN OF A DARK AGE’s founder Vittorio Sabelli states about the new song: “Enonga’s Bells 1566 a.d. is an important song for me and talks about my hometown Agnone (famous all over the world for his bell-towers and for the ancient bells’ foundry Marinelli), that inspired me for this project”.

DAWN OF A DARK AGE, extreme avant-garde black metal band led by multi-instrumentalist Vittorio Sabelli, is mixing the third album ‘Fire’ together with Marcello Malatesta.

The Finnish singer Raato (Graveborne, Grym) joined in this new chapter of the exhalogy ‘The Six Elements’, together with the Underworld String Trio and Antje.

A new exciting pagan trip around the saga ‘The Six Elements’, where black metal meets free jazz, classical and popular music in a very unique and singular sound.

Comments the leader: “I am proud of the contribution that new musicians have added to the music, especially because we are moving away from the uniformity of sounds and the repetitive patterns that now reign supreme in the black metal, always looking for new musical ways and a very unique identity in the metal scene”.

The cover artwork, which will be unveiled shortly, was once again created by Nino R. Mejia, who previously worked with the band on chapters I ‘Earth’ and II ‘Water’, and the photos by ViLa.

DAWN OF A DARK AGE‘s new album “Water”, second chapter of the saga “The Six Elements” will be released on January, 1st 2015. The band has just announced the first video “The Old Path Of Water (Where You Rot Slowly)”, and you can check it out here:

The band is led by the multi-instrumentalist Vittorio Sabelli, who has been active like composer, sax and clarinet player in the classical, jazz and avant-garde scene for over 15 years. “The Six Elements” is his personal eclectic approach on black metal music.
