Italian record label Volcano Records & Promotion pays a tribute to rock guitar with two outstanding releases the very same day.
The first one is ‘Roll Off My Back’ by Alessandro Liccardo, a veteran music producer and guitarist of southern rock explorers Hangarvain. Liccardo shows his skills as an axeman but also plays bass and sings while Mirko De Maio from Roine Stolt’s The Flower Kings, plays drums on a song that mixes classic rock with funk and soul vibes.

The second release of today is ‘Game Of Chess’ by Matt Pascale, one of the finest European young talent of blues guitar. Pascale built a name in the industry by playing hundreds of shows all around the Continent and recently won a scholarship at Steven Blues Academy after his performance at Notodden Blues Festival in Norway. Game Of Chess is produced by Fabrizio ‘Fab’ Grossi (Supersonic Blues Machine, Billy Gibbons, Steve Vai)
Italian independent label Volcano Records & Promotion is pleased to announce ‘Back To Rock Party‘, a great rock show that will take place in the sunny Naples on May 21st.
After two years of pandemic and the struggle that artists and their fanbase suffered being away from shows, live events are coming back also in the south of Italy where Volcano started the journey in 2013 before hitting the international market during the years with several Volcano Rock Fests in both Europe and US. ‘Back To Rock Party’ will be animated by two very good young bands, WaterCrisis and Furious Jane that will both present new releases there, while the main event of the night will be Italian rock stallion Hangarvain as part of their Sin & Desire Tour that will bring them all around Europe within the end of the year.
Volcano Records & Promotion releases today a single entitled ‘Regrets’, teaming up with Metal Shock Finland for an exclusive premiering, to present the new chapter in the story of the mysterious project METAL REMNANTS. Stream ‘Regrets’ below.
After several publications in the past years, the real identity behind METAL REMNANTS stays in the dark. Volcano Records & Promotion stated that “it’s a collective work of art produced by an unknown mastermind named Steve Remnant active between Italy and United States, but nothing else has never been revealed. Regrets is a very powerful and aggressive tune that mixes classic metal with power and more Bay Area oriented elements, a good chance to discover a new artist and start a journey to go deeper in his world.”
Italian record label Volcano Records & Promotion promoted the project #UNITEDWESTAND to send a message of hope to the rest of the world. Twelve Italian artists included Giacomo Voli from Rhapsody Of Fire, Mark Basile from DGM, Iacopo Meille from Tigers Of Pan Tang, Tiziano Spigno from Extrema and many more, joined the cause and sent a contribution from their personal houses and quarantine with a single voice that firmly states “United we stand”.

#UNITEDWESTAND lyrics
I’ve seen the faces of my neighbors
and all the fear inside their hearts
The time collapses in this prison
An endless waiting to restart
We’ll go together in the storm
No one will be left alone
Your hand won’t be shaking for too long
’cause love will keep us strong
The light will shine again
this dark will fall apart
no plague can stop our love for each other
from east to west, on earth
#UNITEDWESTAND
I see the world outside my window
and silence spreads all over here
the radio counts those who’s passed away
An empty street that’s full of tears
How long will this fight carry on?
Seems too strong to get it over
Hear my voice to make you less alone
’cause faith will keep us close
The light will shine again
this dark will fall apart
no plague can stop our love for each other
from east to west, on earth
