“Fly By Night”, the classic song from Canadian rockers RUSH, is featured in a new advertising campaign for the 2013 VW Passat. The 30-second commercial, which can be seen below, features a 40-something businessman stopping at a traffic light and rocking out to the song by playing air drums at the intersection.

The title track to RUSH‘s second album was released as a single in May of 1975.

The Passat sedan is available in the U.S. with a choice of three engines, the 2.5-liter from $20,845, the TDI clean diesel in SE trim from $26,225 and the V6 from $29,235. It was named Motor Trend car of the year for 2012.
