Originally dating back to the early eighties, EAR DANGER was started up again by founding members Dick Vijgen (drums) and Matt Verschoor (bass). Realizing that they would not be able to get the original band together, the teamed up with two excellent young musicians: Ivo Metz (guitar) and Leon Lohmann (vocals, guitar). The original plan was to record a demo, do one or two shows and leave it there. However, their demo “Shock & Awe” was received with so much enthusiasm, that they decided to go beyond that. First a series of concerts throughout Holland took place, of which the highlight was undoubtedly their appearance at the internationally acclaimed Heavy Metal Maniacs Festival. In September of 2011, they released their first album “Full Blast At Last”. At first, this album was released on vinyl only by the band, but as the vinyl edition was quickly sold out, the album was re-released on CD by French label Emanes Metal Records.

The success of “Full Blast” pushed EAR DANGER to take it to the next level: in 2014 the band record next album, titled “Warrior Soul”, which was released again on Emanes Metal. “Warrior Soul” contains ten tracks, of which 8 have never been released before. Together with new album, style of the band has evolved: new songs combine honest and traditional Heavy Metal, with more advanced song writing.

EAR DANGER “Warrior Soul” video trailer:

Bassist Janne Jarvis has left veteran rockers WARRIOR SOUL. He explains in a statement, “After three years and some great shows, it’s time to move on. My commitments with HATE GALLERY [in which Janne plays bass and sings. — Ed.] have made it impossible to carry on. I also have another very exciting project which will reveal itself in the coming months.”
