METAL SHOCK FINLAND invites our readers to support REZOPHONIC and the project AMREF. It’s an unique record project to support the water project in Kenya, linked to the Association AMREF Italy.

REZOPHONIC has released the video “Ci vuole un fiore”, can be viewed below, in collaboration with many italian Artists, to support and draw attention to the project.

REZOPHONIC is much more than an ordinary recording project. The brainchild of Mario Riso, drummer and Television Man, REZOPHONIC was created to celebrate the 20 years of artistic career and “to life devoted primarily to music itself, and of course to Alternative Rock and Metal”, comments Mario.

In these years, Mario has collaborated with the best musicians of the Italian and international music scenes, he’s recorded hundreds of albums and has played thousands of live concerts. For the first time, as the crowning of many past years on stages, in studios and rehearsal rooms, Mario wrote 12 songs and with the support of a great friend and producer Marco Trentacoste, decided to invite all artists, friends, and colleagues who have accompanied him on this long and adventurous journey. The project participants were invited to donate a piece of their art and leave a testimony of their friendship, true common denominator of all the events that occurred over the years.

Participation to the project has been so great and felt that Mario Riso, has wanted to make Rezophonic an even more ambitious project. All proceeds from the sale of this CD will support the water project of AMREF (African Foundation for Medicine and Research) whose aim is the construction of water wells with the involvement of local populations.

Mario is collaborating with the Association for some time thanks to “Nazionale Artisti TV” and because of that, after his second trip to Kenya and the direct meeting with the persons in charge of AMREF Italy and Kenya, and seeing the real importance of this project (placing severe controls to ensure that the raised money is invested in the right cause and not squandered elsewhere without reaching the target), has chosen to donate all proceeds from the sale of Rezophonic for the construction of wells and pump drives in one of the driest regions of East Africa, Kajiado, on the border between Kenya and Tanzania.
