On November 09th “Apostasy”, the full length debut of WELCOME TO PLESHIWAR, will be released! Already a look at the track lengths between 6 and 7 minutes gives you an idea of what you’re dealing with musically: Dragging Death Doom, which doesn’t deny its influences from the genre greats of the 90s, is the virtue here and enriched with progressive passages to a gripping listening experience.

Death/doomers WELCOME TO PLESHIWAR have finished work on their debut longplayer and will release the follow-up to their 2021 EP on November 09 via Black Sunset/MDD.

The album is titled “Apostasy” and will enrapture you for almost 38 minutes with mostly dragging Doom-Death. The band has succeeded in transporting the vibe of the 90s into the modern era and serving a contemporary album, to which the production of Andy Classsen at Stage One does the rest.

Death/doomers from WELCOME TO PLESHIWAR, who were founded in 2021, attracted attention with their debut EP “Unsolved” last year. The quartet’s death-doom, which is strongly influenced by the 90s and enriched with progressive elements, was immediately received with enthusiasm by the press and fans alike.

In the meantime, plans are underway for the full-length debut of the musicians, who, by the way, are no blank slates and are or were active with bands such as Lacrima Christi, Immortalis and Reawacan. For the Full Lenght debut, which will be released in autumn, they not only have a studio date with Andy Classen in mind, but have also signed a deal with Black Sunset/MDD!
