Good morning my friends, I wanted to share with you two stills from the up and coming White Empress video. New album is out end of the year and video will be out sooner. We already have dates but i will wait till there 100% confirmed before i relay the information to you all.

Paul also commented on and clarified a recent article in another metal-mag, claiming his departure from Cradle Of Filth, which handled it from an incorrect perspective. “The reign of the Empress is here.” Guitarist Paul Allender (CRADLE OF FILTH) has stirred up a lot of interest with his new project WHITE EMPRESS.The band have recently released their four track EP “Obsession With The Empress,” as a taster for the fans of what is to come.
Blackdiamond recently caught up with Paul for a chat about this exciting new project and the many plans. You can read some excerpts below and listen to the audio interview in full:
Discussing the concept of the WHITE EMPRESS, Paul expressed:
“What I wanted to do, I wanted to create this complete fantasy of the White Empress. She’s a pretty mean bitch to be honest. We’ve started a comic book as well for it. The idea is to have the comic come out when an album comes out. It’s the same with the videos – every single video is going to be connected, so it tells the story of the Empress in visual form and the other one in comic book form.
But they are two alternate realities that coincide, but never cross.”
Paul went on to say:
” We’re not gonna be one of these bands that crack out albums every six months. We believe in taking our time and making sure it’s absolutely perfect.
Everyone in the band is so driven, it’s a breath of fresh air. ”
