Swedish all-femail metal band FRANTIC AMBER has issued the following press release:

Pure, relentless, frantic – Swedish all-female metal band Frantic Amber pushes the boundaries harder and faster with the release of their debut 5 track EP, “Wrath of Judgement”.

The release of a video clip for the title track “Wrath of Judegment” (can be viewed below) in late 2010 generated enormous worldwide interest in the band and led to the decision to release the 5 track EP rather than wait for completion of a full length album. Guitarist Mary says “We are so happy and proud to finally get our EP released! Looking back on all our hard work and seeing it has paid off feels great!”.

In support of the release, the band are taking to the road in March 2011 and heading to Russia. Vocalist Elizabeth comments “We are ever so grateful for all the support we’ve seen from all the people around the world and can’t wait to go out on tour to share our music with you all!”

The concept of Frantic Amber was created in 2008 by guitarist Mary, looking to create an all-female band with the power and attitude more commonly associated with male metal bands. Drawing members from different nations together in Stockholm, the band spend 2010 writing, recording and gigging. The EP “Wrath of Judgement” is the end result of that process.
