Children of Bodom Members Meet & Greet in Edmonton

Alexi Laiho, Roope Latvala and Henkka Blacksmith of Children of Bodom will take part in a meet-and-greet on Friday, 24 September at Mother’s Music in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada starting at 4:00 p.m.

Children of Bodom (COB) recently entered Finland’s Petrax Studios to begin work on their as-yet-untitled seventh studio album. The band has enlisted famed rock producer Matt Hyde

(Slayer, Monster Magnet) to oversee the new recording and will remain in the studio through late September. The new record will see release in early 2011.

“We’re very excited to let everyone hear what we’re creating with this new record,” said the band in a statement. “Everything you love about COB has been magnified tenfold and we’re pushing ourselves harder than ever before. Expect nothing less than ‘the perfect storm!'”

The 22 september will start the the Black Label Berzerkus 2-months North American tour, featuring Black Laber Society alongside with Children of Bodom and Clutch.
