Finnish rock cello quartet Apocalyptica, which was recently forced to postpone their North American tour due to issues with Perttu Kivilaakso‘s health, has issued the following update:
“To ensure that Perttu has enough time to recover, we decided to move the French dates and the Swiss date back to April. Fortunately, all the French dates and the Swiss show have now been rescheduled without any major problems and we were even able to add an extra show in Marmande at Garorock.
“All tickets already bought will remain valid for the rescheduled shows. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience and thank you so much for your support! Rest assured, Apocalyptica will definitely start touring on February 22, 2011 in Ljubljana.”
The new dates are as follows:
Apr. 08 – Marmande, France – Garorock Festival
Apr. 09 – Le Mans, France – L’Oasis
Apr. 10 – Lausanne, Switzerland – Les Docks
Apr. 11 – Clarement Ferrand, France – Le Coupe
Apr. 14 – Lille, France – Aeronef
Apr. 15 – Strasbourg, France – Le Laterie (Artefact Festival)
Apr. 16 – Rouen, France – Le 106
