A new song sample “The Last Time In Neverland” of Danish hard rockers D-A-D, is available and can be streamed HERE. The song comes off the band’s 11th studio album, “DIC.NII.LAN.DAFT.ERD.ARK”, which will be released on November 11. The follow-up to 2008’s “Monster Philosophy” was helmed by Nick Foss, who previously worked with D-A-D on such LPs as “No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims”, “Sympatico”, “Everything Glows” and “Soft Dogs”. The album title is a play on D-A-D‘s original band name DISNEYLAND AFTER DARK, which had to be changed after a threat of a lawsuit from The Walt Disney Company. Finnish doomy dark metallers 0 X í S T have posted an online teaser that features samples of six tracks which will be included on their debut album, “Nil”. Check it out below.
In other news, 0 X í S T will support PANTHEIST (U.K.) on a tour of Finland between October 26 and October 29.
0 X í S T‘s first CDEP, “Unveiling the Shadow World”, was released in April 2010 via Ostra Records. In August and September 2010, the band recorded a demo containing two new tracks: “Old World Vanished” and “…Of Wood, Stone And Bone”. A limited demo-CD-R edition (100 copies) was released to prepare for 0 X í S T‘s first full-length album.
0 X í S T, which stands for “zero exist,” performs “heavy, slow and menacing dark metal.”
Guitarist/vocalist Helmuth Lehner of the Austrian blackened death metal outfit BELPHEGOR underwent “a serious and difficult” operation 16 days ago, shortly after the group completed its South American tour. As a result, all of the band’s previously announced shows between now and May 2012 have been canceled. Source: Blabbermouth.net

A 23-minute video clip featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of “A Southern Revelation”, the seventh album from MY RUIN — the Los Angeles-based band featuring the husband-and-wife rock duo of vocalist Tairrie B. Murphy and multi-instrumentalist Mick Murphy — can be seen below. The CD — which will be made available as a free download and gift to fans starting December 7, 2011 exclusively via www.myruin.net — was produced by Mick Murphy and Joel Stooksbury at Soundtrack Black Studio deep in the snowy mountains just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee in the cold January winter of 2011.
