Members of Swedish progressive metal bands OPETH and KATATONIA — who comprise the death metal “supergroup” BLOODBATH — joined forces for a two-song encore this past Wednesday, November 2 at the final stop of the OPETH/KATATONIA tour at Ram’s Head in Baltimore, Maryland. “Under The Sign Of Hell 2011”, the re-recording of GORGOROTH‘s third album, has now finally been pressed and CD will be sold at the merchandise booth during the band’s upcoming European tour. The group has only a limited amount of CDs available for sale so they will only be available for purchase while stocks last. A physical CD release date will be announced once details have been provided by Regain Records.
On “Under The Sign Of Hell 2011”, Pest and Infernus repeat their roles as vocalist and guitarist/bassist, respectively, from the original 1996 recording, while Tomas Asklund handles the drums.

Legendary British Heavy Metal band IRON MAIDEN announce that they have arranged to take over the whole of Hopton Holiday Park near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, UK for three full nights next October.
“We plan to cram, the long weekend full of Maiden madness including guest speakers, themed events and tournaments. There will be quizzes to test your Maiden knowledge and if you fancy being Bruce for a while then you can show off your vocal talent in a karaoke competition. If you need to find that elusive piece of Maiden memorabilia then you might just find it amongst the trading tables that we will set up. There are TV screens throughout the park that will be playing all of your favourite Maiden DVDs and videos.” Iron Maiden was announced. Also They’ve already booked two Maiden tribute bands, Hi-On Maiden and Maiden Scotland and punkers Pocket Godzillas and Rockers The Fallen will play their gigs as well.
